The Orange County Section was started as an offshoot of the Los Angeles section in 1967 with Terry Sweeney serving as the first section president.  Today our section has close to 400 members who are not only from Orange County but Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties as well.

Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly Board meetings held the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM.  To accommodate our diverse geography we rotate our meeting locations between the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in Irvine, Newport Harbor Drivers Club in Newport Beach and at a business location in the north Orange County city of Placentia.  Breakfast has been indefinitely suspended.

Our annual section events include the SL Appreciation Day and a New Members picnic held in early summer and the annual fall Star Trek.  Other section events include automotive museums and local attraction tours, social events, rallies, driving events and tech sessions. Our group also volunteers for the Toys for Tots each December.
