The Tarheel Section MBCA stretches from the mountains of Western North Carolina down the Interstate 40 corridor to Hillsborough North Carolina then up to Roanoke Virginia. The Section is a driver's paradise where you can find some of North Carolina's and Virginia's most beautiful and challenging roads. This is because of the rolling hills and mountains that are found in the region. Several metropolitan cities fall within the Tarheel Section and they include the piedmont triad of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point, as well as the Gateway and Mountain areas including Hickory, Lenoir and Boone/Blowing Rock.

Section members enjoy many different activities including social, dining, driving, car show and charity events throughout the region, featuring our signature event, the Mercedes-Benz Showcase at Shelton Vineyards.
