Central Georgia

The Central Georgia Section was chartered as a new MBCA Section in November of 2010.  The Section, however; had an active group of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts enjoying local central and south Georgia social, technical, and driving activities since 2008. Starting as a Mercedes-Benz Middle Georgia Monthly Dine-Out Group in July of 2008 the group continues to enjoying outstanding monthly dinner gatherings in many of middle Georgia’s independent restaurants.

The Central Georgia Section boundaries are an east-west line of counties across the state just above Macon, GA and include south and southwest Georgia counties below that line, including the major cities of Macon, Columbus and Albany, Georgia and all their surrounding counties.

This allocation makes our interface with members, our three dealers, and many independent service organizations a true working partnership that enables us to continue to grow our MBCA membership, and provide the fun of interfacing with other local Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.

The Central Georgia Section is dedicated to enhancing your MBCA experience. We routinely plan social, technical, and driving events throughout the central and southern parts of the state. We are scheduling and planning events in all areas of middle and south Georgia and we welcome your suggestions and advice in locating, planning, and executing those events.

Our intention is to support your membership needs and increase your MBCA membership value, while continuing to expand our membership. We want to take every opportunity to show that there is an active group of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts available to enhance our member’s ownership of their Mercedes-Benz vehicles. To that end, those serving on the Board of Directors are always available to discuss your needs, your vision of the Central Georgia Section, and your expectations of what this Section will deliver. Please contact one of our section leaders in the box below for additional information.

Our Newsletter is published every two months. It is distributed electronically in color via e-mail distribution. The Newsletter addresses current and planned events within the Section, joint events planned within the Region, and inter-Region coordinated events.

Our local Website is, please visit it to review past Newsletters, Upcoming Events, and contact information for our officers.
Please don’t hesitate to contact any of our officers with any questions or suggestions. This is YOUR CLUB, and YOUR SECTION, and we need your feedback to assure your benefiting from your membership.

Southwest Florida

Southwest Florida Section, MBCA
Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Marco Island, Naples, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Venice
The Southwest Florida Section covers the southwest Gulf coastal region to the middle of Florida from Chokoloskee in the south to Venice in the north and has had a dedicated group of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts since the Section was formed in 1989.  It is a very active Section with two member breakfast meetings each month, one in Fort Myers and one in Naples.  Frequent activities include driving events, social events, Oktoberfest, car shows, tours of auto collections, visits to art exhibits, and Ladies of Mercedes events.  The rich cultural environment in our area provides a wide range of opportunities for our members to choose from.  Our breakfast meetings usually have 20 or more participants and provide quality social time as well as a platform for a formal program. These meetings also allow members to share information regarding resources that individual members have used for support of their vehicle needs.  Our area dealers also participate in these meetings and other Section events during the year.   These dealers currently provide discounted service hourly rates and parts discounts to MBCA members.  These breakfast meetings and interaction with other Section members are designed to enhance our MBCA members’ overall experience.
Our unique location in Southwest Florida, a popular seasonal destination for many, results in the pleasure of meeting MBCA members from other parts of the country and often, the world.  Their participation in our local section events further enhances their and our MBCA experience.  We enjoy those who have joined Southwest Florida as Second Section Members and welcome them, as well as all other MBCA members, to our local events when they are in Florida.
Your Southwest Florida Section leadership is always available to our members and appreciates your input on events that you would like to see planned.  Contact any of the Section leadership with your ideas and we will work to make it happen.
The Southwest Florida Section leadership is dedicated to providing an enhanced MBCA experience through our interaction with members both at local events, MBCA National events, and through our Section newsletter – The Sunshine STAR.  A steady stream of new faces helps provide new ideas for those events that our Section members wish to see on our calendar and your Section leadership works to provide a wide range of activities and events on our annual schedule.

Road Star

Our section was started back in 1981 and stretches along Florida eastern coast between Sebastian on down to Boca Raton.  In between those two points you may recognize places like Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Hobe Sound, Jupiter, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach.

We usually have a meeting about once each quarter.  We usually try to have events that are somewhat educational for our members.  We have meetings at three of the dealerships in our area and we visit various museums and attractions in the area; then we go to lunch!  We usually get about 20 to 25 members at each meeting.

The southeast coast of Florida is a truly beautiful area.  It’s got beautiful beaches, the beautiful ocean, tremendous golf and tennis facilities, as well as great theater and the arts.  Our challenge is “so much to do, and not enough time to do it all”!
