MBCA Raffle

OFFICIAL RULES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Effective May 15, 2026

1. Participation is open where permitted by law to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age and older. Void whereprohibited by state law. Additional eligibility restrictions may apply based on state regulations.

2. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Payments by check or money order must be in U.S. funds and issued by a U.S.‑based bank.Checks must be exclusively for the payment of ticket(s) and not include other purchases or renewal payments.

3. An Official Order Form, or copy thereof, must be used to purchase tickets when ordering by mail. Order form is available upon request from the National Business Office (NBO) at info@mbca.org. Mail order form requests to:

4. Ticket orders must be received no later than August 15, 2026 11:59PM MST. Ticket orders and checks arriving after this date will be returned to the sender.

5. All ticket sales are final at the time of purchase. There are no refunds.

6. Tickets will only be issued in the name of the purchaser. Prizes will be awarded on the same basis. Winning tickets cannot be assigned, transferred, or sold.

7. Paid staff and contractors of MBCA and The Star magazine, their immediate families and household members may not participate in the raffle.

8. Odds of winning will be based on the number of tickets sold.

9. Prize winners must complete and return all required forms provided by the NBO within thirty (30) days of the date written notification of winning is sent. Failure to timely return required documentation may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner..

10. The drawing will held and certified on or before August 31, 2026 in Marietta, GA. The winner will be notified and must accept or decline the prize within seven (7) days. The winner will be announced by September 15th. Any MBCA member may attend the drawing via online video conference session; attendance is not required to win. Results will be posted at www.mbca.org.
    Should extenuating circumstances prevent the drawing from taking place at the above-mentioned time and/or place, notice will be given via eblast and on www.mbca.org

11. The raffle is sponsored by MBCA, Peachtree Chapter, and ticket requests are subject to its acceptance. This raffle is licensed under the laws of the State of Georgia.

12. A minimum of 6,000 tickets must be sold for the grand prize to be awarded as described. If the minimum ticket threshold is met, one winner will receive a Mercedes-Benz GT 55 AMG, with an approximate retail value of $150,000. The winner must accept delivery of the vehicle from a dealership designated by MBCA. No substitutions or cash equivalents will be provided. The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, including any required tax withholding, and for all licensing, registration, insurance, transportation, and other costs associated with accepting and taking possession of the vehicle. If the winner declines the prize, fails to complete required documentation, or fails to satisfy applicable tax and delivery requirements within the time specified by MBCA, an alternate winner may be selected.

    
    

    If fewer than 6,000 tickets are sold, the prize will convert to a cash award equal to 45% of total gross raffle ticket sales, lessany required federal, state, or local withholding.

13. Any expenses incurred to take possession of the vehicle that exceed the prize awarded will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

14. The withholding deposited on behalf of the winner may not cover all taxes owed, depending on the winner’s tax bracket. The gross amount of the prize will be added to the winner’s income for the 2026 tax year, and the winner is solely responsible for determining the full extent of their tax obligations.

15. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for MBCA to use the winner’s name, Chapter affiliation, likeness, and photograph in any MBCA publicity worldwide, in all media, including the Internet, without additional compensation.

16. By participating in the raffle, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
