The annual Oktoberfest All-German Car Show is back. This is our largest event of the year, with participation of almost 300 BMWs, Audis, Porsches, Volkswagens, and Mercedes. We've outgrown every venue we had before, and we were very fortunate to be able to partner with the Kansas City Automotive Museum last year, which now owns the multi-story parking garage that was originally put in place to serve the (then) BMA office tower just to the west. The lower level is the museum's The Underground and the top open-air level has been reserved for the Oktoberfest show. The Pennsylvania Street entrance is immediately east of the "One Park Place" monument sign. On the north side of 31st Street a city street sign shows "PENN ST" at the entrance.

Please arrive for placement at 9:00 a.m. The show will open for spectators at 10:00 a.m.

If qualified judges are available and we have sufficient interest, we'd like to do an MBCA Silver Star Preservation verification for eligible cars. Please email [email protected] for details if your car is at least 25 years old, largely original, and roadworthy. The Silver Star Award is not a beauty contest for restored trailer queens, but verification of functional originality still providing transportation after 25 years. A special Silver Star Preservation grill badge is available for purchase through MBCA for cars that have undergone certification.

So, brand-new or grizzled veteran, 80 h.p. or AMG, bring your Benz to the show and enjoy all the fine machinery on display. Food trucks have been invited. Lederhosen and Tyrolean hats optional.
