The fall weather and scenery were incredible with clear blue skies and high temp of 76 deg.  The fall colors were near peak in the Baraboo Hills and on our driving route.   We had 14 cars and 24 MB Club members arrive at the Wollersheim Winery around noon for lunch at their Bistro or at other restaurants and delis/bakeries in nearby Prairie du Sac/Sauk City.   At 1:30 pm all those participating in this fall color driving tour gathered at the Riverfront Park's huge parking lot where members obtained their instructions and maps for driving this tour.   At 2:00 pm Jerry Zajicek led the 14 MB Club cars north on Hwy 78 and Hwy 113 to Devil's Lake State Park.  The drive there went very smoothly.   However, the drive along South Devil's Lake road was very slow and cautious. Visitor cars were parked along both sides of the narrow roadway.  Pedestrians were also walking there, so this became a real test for all of our members' best careful driving skills and patience.  We all passed thru safely and came out of the park onto County Hwy DL into the city of Baraboo and the downtown square.   From there, every car was on their own to drive or walk to see the fall festival activities around the square and drive by the Circus World Museum along Hwy 113. Bernd Kampe
