Both sessions will be held at Gulf Coast Auto Shield located at 9442 Summerbell Lane in Houston.

Session #1 should be of interest to anyone who has wondered whether they should be buying premium gas, whether to use regular or synthetic oil in older models, whether the high mileage oils work, which viscosity is best, the effects of ethanol fuels in your engine, is all gasoline alike, and is all anti-freeze alike? 

SPEAKER: Mr. Kenneth Stuntz, 2017 MBCA Houston Member of the Year, MBCA Houston Section Board Member / treasurer, and Retired Engineer who dedicated his career to the testing and evaluation of the performance of newly developed fuels, additives, and lubricants. Ken’s 35-year career included designing tests and evaluating the performance of newly developed fuels and lubricants for Chevron, as well as dedicating the last twenty years of his career marketing fuels and petrochemicals for The Ethyl Corporation. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois as well as a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University and is a career-long member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Session #2 will reveal a few tips and secrets to keeping your car looking new for many years. Everyone knows how to wash their own car. However, if done improperly you will cause damage to the finish of your Mercedes. 

SPEAKER: Mr. John Gray, owner of Gulf Coast Auto Shield, will walk us through everything from the basics of washing your car the proper way, polishing to remove swirls and other imperfections and finally how to protect the finish of your Mercedes from the harsh environment. We’ll also look at some of the latest technology used to protect the finish of high-quality cars.
