These Cajun Crawfish Boils have become tradition for the Fort Worth Section.  Jim & Sean Hannon and Larry & Karen Vaughn hosted an authentic Crawfish Boil for the club.  Da Hannons did da cookin', da Vaughns done provided da housin', and we all went a-peelin' and eatin'.  What a great way to spend a spring afternoon! 

About 45 members attended the party, enjoying lots and lots of crawfish boiled with real Louisiana spices, plus sausage, corn and potatoes.  Generous batches of boiled shrimp were also there for the eatin’.  Attendees brought their own beverages to wash it all down.  And then there were cookies for dessert.

Nearly 200 pounds of crawdad were cooked, consumed, and taken home.  This year’s crawfish harvest was a good one, and the critters were big, plump and juicy.  There was no way that anyone went home hungry.
