This may be a first for the MB Classifieds. I have a 57 220S that has the sliding steel sun roof. This makes it kind of rare for a start. It has been called a "Mercedes Rat Rod" by some in the community. I call it a car with “character". I decided not to paint or do the interior. However, the headliner has been redone. I left the paint alone, had some fun with the current finish, and gave it some patina. I really did not want to make the big investment in a ground-up restoration. I have owned it almost 5 years. Very little to no rust at all. Here's what’s new: Chrome (Stainless steel bumpers), brakes, tires, brake booster, master cylinder, rebuilt carbs, and more. It runs great. No oil burning.
