Watkins Glen International is one of the premier racetracks in the world. The stars of all forms of racing - F1, IRL, sports cars, and stock cars - have come to The Glen for 60 years and left their mark on its history. Situated high on a hillside with expansive views of Seneca Lake, this legendary 3.5-mile, 11-turn circuit is famous for its challenging, high-speed elevation changes.
High Performance Driving
The purpose of the school is simple: improve your driving skills. Under the close supervision of trained instructors, you'll learn to control your vehicle at track speeds. You will never be encouraged to go faster than is comfortable, and passing in corners is strictly prohibited. This is a school, not a race.
Track Time & Instruction
You will have four on-track sessions each day (20-30 minutes each), resulting in 3 to 4 hours of total track time over the weekend! Beginners will have an instructor in the passenger seat at all times. Advanced drivers may be "signed off" for solo driving once they prove consistency, correct lines, and proper etiquette.
Classroom Sessions
Your day is divided between driving, classroom sessions, and free time. Mandatory classroom time will cover high-speed driving theory, vehicle dynamics, early vs. late apexing, and why cars understeer or oversteer. Q&A opportunities will be included in every session.
All Makes & Models Welcome!
You don't have to drive an Audi to enjoy the event. We welcome all makes of cars to come out and improve their skills. All members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) are welcome to join without a separate ACNA membership!
