From Hastings, the route crosses the St. Croix into Wisconsin, following US-10 through river towns and farmland. Scenic county roads lead to Eau Galle, where we’ll visit a restored service station and the family-owned Eau Galle Cheese Factory, founded in 1945 and still producing award-winning cheese. John Buhlman will share his vintage automotive collection.
The final leg continues through Durand to The Stone Barn, a historic venue in rolling farmland—an ideal place to gather and enjoy food after the drive.
Thanks to Dale Simpson for planning and to John Buhlman for opening his station and factory.
Updates for weather-related changes will be emailed and posted on the MNMB Facebook page.
Looking forward to the fourth MNMB Sommerfarhen 2025 drive!
