W223 S-Class (2021-Present)

First Post

Overall, it has been a nice vehicle for us.

However, I have recently started to experience a problem with the parking brakes. After the car sits for a period of time (several hours or more), more gas pedal pressure is required than normal to get the parking brakes to release. And the release is often quite abrupt.

The dealer tells me it is a common situation for these vehicles. During cold and wet weather conditions surface corrosion causes the pads to stick to the rotors, when the parking brake are automatically applied upon putting the car in Park.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem?

Let’s get this thread going. Are you enjoying your W223?
