If you appreciate the engineering and performance behind the Mercedes-Benz badge, the newly released 2027 Formula 1 calendar gives us plenty to look forward to. F1 is leaning heavily into high-stakes racing this season, expanding the Sprint format to 10 weekends.
That means more wheel-to-wheel action and fewer quiet practice sessions, most notably in Monaco, where we’ll get to see two distinct qualifying sessions squeezed onto those legendary, narrow streets. For MBCA members, it’s a great excuse to get together, set up a few race-day watch parties, or even plan a trip to see a Grand Prix in person. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team has been steadily refining its platform, and watching Kimi Antonelli and George Russell wring every bit of performance out of those cars is always a highlight. At its core, F1 remains the ultimate proving ground for the track-to-road technology that eventually makes its way into our own cars, making the 2027 season one well worth following closely from start to finish.
