I read the post about changing the fluid regularly.  Where is the reservoir and how to change any advise would be appreciated

They all wear out..one of the reasons IMHO is that MB never recommends changing the hydraulic fluid...I like to see if done every 3 years.  Over time the additives that help keep the seals pliable lose their efficacy...leading to blown out rams.

I'd recommend tending to them All in one shot if possible, doing them piece meal will cost significantly more in the long run.
