Thank you for 'Greasing the wheels'

I certainly appreciate this article and how it stresses the importance of proper lubrication. However, I think this should only be the first page in a technical short story of How-to.

Here is where I am coming from: I have always said that a perfectionist that lacks confidence is a procrastinator; I am him. Often, I consider the lubrication needs of my 1987 560 SEL that spent most of its life in the hot Nevada dessert, yet I am paralyzed by the thought of using the wrong lubricant. Understanding that anything is better than nothing, I still seek to know. It is my suspicion that those infamous plastic window regulator slides disintegrate due to being lubed with a petroleum based grease.

Is it possible for you to share with us the MB part number of the paraffin wax, as well as other professional lubricants and their specific uses rather than me attacking my vehicle armed with WD40?
