Mercedes-Benz of Pompano Beach invited the South Florida Section to participate in an exclusive, all-day service clinic on Saturday, May 16. We, in turn, passed on the invitation to the other MBCA sections in our region with the result that MBCA members from Roadstar and Southwest Florida joined us for a fun-filled day.

The complimentary services included inspections and full vehicle evaluations; there were vendors for our cars' needs including the Dent Wizard and the Headlight Doctor, and there were refreshments, door prizes and giveaways. Ed Taylor, the service manager and our gracious host, encouraged us to run a strong membership campaign and we met many potential MBCA members. The highlight and focal point of the day's activities was the display of the brand new 2010 EClass sedan. (see pictures below) It is elegant and comfortable, and several of us are very interested in its arrival on the market in the fall.

Ed Taylor treated us to a tour of the very impressive facilities. He was happy to announce that Mercedes-Benz of Pompano will be one of only three facilities that specialize in classic cars, information that our members who own classic cars were very happy to hear indeed. We are looking forward to a close relationship with Mercedes-Benz of Pompano Beach.
