The Pikes Peak Section holds at least one event per month that is open to all MBCA members and their guests. These include rallies, technical sessions, and car shows as well as picnics, potluck dinners and other social gatherings. Here you will find information and contact links for upcoming section events. This month make plans to join your fellow Benz Club members for our annual New Member's Party to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27th at Mimi's Cafe, 7133 North Academy Blvd. A special menu will offer each of us a choice of soup or salad, one of five entree selections, a choice from three desserts, and coffee, tea or soft drink. The price of $22.50 per person also includes the tax and gratuity. All new members for 2009 will receive a complimentary meal.
The event gives existing members an opportunity to share their Mercedes Club experiences with the new membership. The Pikes Peak Section is an especially enthusiastic and active group and we want to encourage your participation in our fun and varied activities. And, as Mimi's Cafe appeals to many, we are excited about the chosen location. The private dining area, with the cozy fireplace, will be provided for us. It holds about 48 guests so be sure and get your reservations mad no later than February 20.
