MBCA GENERAL INFORMATION

The Trading Post accepts ads for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, parts, accessories, literature, and services from those not commercially engaged full or part-time in selling, buying, or trading such. Ads of those so engaged appear in the Commercial Corner except for vehicles, which are in the appropriate Trading Post category and designated by (comm.).

State model, year, body style, color, mileage, price, etc. Ads must be typed or clearly printed on 8½ x 11 paper or on form (link below). The Star® is not responsible for errors and reserves the right to reject, re- classify or edit ads. Photos must be good quality prints or JPEG (no slides) and cannot be returned. To re-run, ads must be resubmitted. For more information, see additional instructions in The Star®.

MEMBER RATES:
First 30 words per issue (not per ad) free; extra words 30¢ each; photo $20. No charge for first listing of name, address, one phone number and one e-mail address. Listings in 2nd and subsequent ads are counted as words. Must give member number (see membership card or mailing label). If necessary, payment or Visa/MC account number and expiration date must accompany ad. Canadians and overseas members, use Visa or MasterCard only, no checks. Ads seeking stolen cars are free (to owners).

NON-MEMBER & COMMERCIAL RATES:
$30 for up to 30 words; extra words 30¢ each; photo $30. No charge for first listing of name, address, one phone number and one e-mail address. Listings in 2nd and subsequent ads are counted as words. Pre-payment required. Commercial discounts: 10% for three pre-paid consecutive insertions, 20% for six.

TERMS:
Terms of sale, payment, shipping, condition, fit, warranty, returns, refunds, etc. are the responsibility of buyer and seller. Should a problem occur, contact The Star® with details.

DEADLINE:
Ad and payment must be received by The Star® by 5:00 P.M. Pacific Time on the 20th of the odd-numbered months.

January 20th for the March/April issue
March 20th for the May/June issue
May 20th for the July/August issue
July 20th for the September/October issue
September 20th for the November/December issue
November 20th for the January/February issue

The next issue is the November/December issue. Ads submitted, and paid for, by September 20^th 5:00 PM Pacific Time will appear in it.

Sorry, we can't accept ads via telephone. Use overnight express or fax, (650) 949-1632; receipt of faxes cannot be confirmed. All faxed ads must be typed, not hand-written. Ads received after deadline will appear in next available issue.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you would like to cancel your ad and have it removed from the Trading Post on-line please email the editor or call (650) 949-9680 to advise. There will be no refunds as a result of a cancellation which has already been published either on-line in the Trading Post or within an edition of the STAR magazine. Please note that while it is possible to remove an ad from the on-line Trading Post, it is likely to be too late to do so from the magazine.
