Hosted by the San Francisco Bay Area Section with the Sacramento Section, this premier event includes a concours d’elegance on Treasure Island with a backdrop of the San Francisco skyline; a rally/drive starting at the edge of San Francisco Bay and driving through several wine appellations, past a sleeping volcano, and into California’s vast agricultural heartland; three days of track events (autocross, accelerations runs, time trials, defensive driving school) at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willow. Other activities include two banquets, a welcome reception, and side-trips to interesting places.

OCTOBER 1 This is a call for interest to all ladies who plan to attend StarFest 2008. I have been talking to Carol Martin, the owner of the Quilt Corral in Willows, CA. She would like to offer some non-sewing workshops for those who are interested. She suggested a “Poker Run/Shop Hop” to the other shops in Willows.
