The Star Committee

The Standard Operating Procedures Manual for MBCA, Section 8, provides for the responsibility of the Star Committee. The manual states:

"The STAR Committee is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the printing, mailing, distribution, and sale of magazines and all issues involved with the STAR Contract. The Committee Chairman also acts as liaison with the Editor/Publisher of the STAR. The committee is responsible for overseeing the cost of the magazine and determining which events and activities will be entitled to free advertising."
