About Us

The North Texas Chapter of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) is home to a vibrant community of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts located in North Texas. With a strong base of dedicated members, the chapter actively participates in both local and national MBCA initiatives.

Chapter activities are typically centered in the North Dallas area, and members enjoy a wide range of events throughout the year—from social gatherings and technical workshops to scenic drives and special programs. Whether you're new to Mercedes-Benz or a long-time enthusiast, there's something for everyone.

Over the years, our chapter has proudly contributed to MBCA’s national presence, hosting major events and earning recognition for service and leadership. We strive to create a welcoming, collegial, and casual environment for all members.

Upcoming Events

On Saturday, 6/20/26, from 12 to 2pm, the MBCA, NTX Section will hold another one of its great members’ lunches.  This lunch will be held at Tokyo Hana Japanese Hibachi Restaurant, 9900 Lakeview Parkway, Rowlett, Texas, 75088, 972-412-0303.  Our members will enjoy a brief Saturday drive in their MB’s eastward on George Bush Tollway to Hwy 66/Lakeview Parkway then left on Highway 66/Lakeview Parkway over the first bridge of Lake Ray Hubbard toward the City of Rockwall.  Tokyo Hana will be on the right just before the second bridge.  Those attending will have a chance to visit and share stories about their MB experiences.  Members will individually choose their meal from the great selections on the menu.  The first 22 attendees will be seated at a hibachi grill table where their meals will be prepared by one of the talented chefs who always entertain us while preparing the meal!  Other members will be seated at various other tables in the room.  After the orders are placed, our President, Eric Van der Velden, and our Vice President, Michael Hall, who heads up the events committee, will have a few words to update us on the activities of our chapter.  After our meal, there will also be a presentation on current scams and frauds by a Chase Bank representative.  We look forward to seeing many of our regular attendees as well as new members and guests there!  Be sure to mark your calendar for this event!  You will not want to miss it!  There’s always fun and food to be experienced at our great lunches.
