T
he Niagara Section is an interesting group of people who share a connection with each other through a common interest… an appreciation for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Not all of us own a Mercedes (it’s not a requirement), but some of us own several of these fantastic machines.
The unique thing about the club is this: while there is a common interest to bring us together, it’s our members’ diverse backgrounds that keep us involved. Our get-togethers are usually a combination of technical or cultural or driving – with a social component, either a lunch or dinner – but always fun. We organize our own events and participate in other clubs’ events as well, some recurring each year and many with varying activities. The event list is long, and some that were held in the past: car shows, safe driver training, road rallyes, group tours of local museums and other attractions, brunches, dinner parties and wine tasting sessions to name a few.
We are one of the few sections that holds regular monthly meetings during three seasons, many with features such as guest speakers, travelogue presentations, or just rousing conversation. Visitors are always welcome at meetings and events.
So whether or not you own a Mercedes, or if you just want to know more about them or take advantage of the many perks offered by the MBCA, join us and get involved. We welcome you to our group, and more importantly, we hope to benefit from knowing you.
If you would like to know more about anything club-related, give me or one of your officers a call. Lastly, even if you haven’t attended before, I urge everyone in the club to put our monthly meetings on your calendar - the Eagle House - 5578 Main, Williamsville - attend, bring a friend!
To join the MBCA and the Niagara Section contact one of our local officers, a member you may know, or link to the national MBCA Membership page.
