WELCOME TO THE MINUTEMAN SECTION OF THE MBCA

The Minuteman Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America serves Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As a member of the club you will enjoy an array of benefits and enjoy the many club functions and social activities fostering friendship and sharing of our common passion for the Mercedes-Benz automobile. We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits of the club and join us as an active participant in its many automotive and social gatherings.

The Minuteman Section has subscribed to an email service which allows us to notify our members of upcoming events sponsored by the Minuteman Section, MBCA National, or other car enthusiast clubs who open up their events by special invitation to Minuteman Section members. In some cases this will be the only way to hear about events sponsored outside of the local section. You will also receive occasional technical articles and a full color version of our Minuteman Section newsletter, Triangles, as it is published quarterly. If you provided your email address when you joined the Club, you are already receiving notices. If they haven't been coming to your mailbox - now is a great time to take a moment to register or update your information so you don't miss out on any of the fun!

The Minuteman Section would like to welcome Stephen Coulter and Holson Yap to the board of directors. Stephen and Holson are long-time Mercedes-Benz enthusiast who will bring new ideas to the board. We look forward to their input and contributions to the club.

Each year a select few members of the MBCA Sections are recognized for their contributions in advancing the enjoyment and/or benefits of the Club to the greater club populace. This year we are pleased to announce that Bonnie Fancy and John Piekarczyk have been voted Minuteman Section Member-of-the-Year and Northeast Region Officer-of-the-Year, respectively! Congratulations - well deserved!

MBCA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

MBCAEF encourages driver safety and is currently involved with the Tire Rack Street Survival program; a successful program designed to save lives - teen lives - through driving education.

This year the annual nautical cruise will depart from the pier located behind the Clam Shack at 227 Clinton Avenue, Falmouth, MA on Sunday, August 16th. Free parking is available in the Clam Shack's parking lot. The Liberté, a 74 foot 3 masted schooner, will sail for 2 hours in the waters off Cape Cod. Light refreshments will be available on board. Please plan to arrive at 2:30 p.m. for a 3:00 p.m. departure. Of course dress comfortably but appropriately for potential sea spray depending on the weather.

After the cruise we will drive about a block to the famous Coonamessett Inn at 311 Gifford Street for a half hour cocktail period to stabilize our sea legs.The Inn is renown in this area as the ultimate in quaint New England charm and exquisite food. CAPACITY IS LIMITED. Register Today.
