This year’s event was held on Sunday September 11 at the now familiar location of Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Unlike several past years, this year’s weather was perfect with no threat of rain in the forecast. We had 36 cars entered for the judged classes and an additional dozen cars registered for display only.

John Piekarczyk has taken over as chief judge. John marshaled a dozen judges to their task and judging was commenced at 10:30 a.m. John was also able to organize donations from Maquires to raffle off. This was done according to Steve Wiener’s method of ticket pricing, where a single ticket was $2, or an arms length worth
was $10. Several hundred dollars were made in this process,
which goes to defray the cost of running the event.
Foreign Motors brought the usual brace of new cars including
the new CLS 500, a CL 65 and a R350.

All judging was completed by 12:30 and the task of tallying the scores was up to me. We began announcements for the final standings at 2:00 p.m. The following is the list of winners, trophies and plaques.
