WELCOME TO THE MINUTEMAN SECTION OF THE MBCA

The Minuteman Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America serves Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As a member of the club you will enjoy an array of benefits and enjoy the many club functions and social activities fostering friendship and sharing of our common passion for the Mercedes-Benz automobile. We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits of the club and join us as an active participant in its many automotive and social gatherings.

With every email and address update that MBCA receives at the national business office, (either by website, phone, email or snail mail) MBCA will send a 10 % Off Coupon for one item in the MBCA National Club Store. 2010 Minuteman Most Active Member Competition!

Starting in January 2010, the Minuteman Section will begin a new, year-long competition for the Most Active Member. This competition will be judged by what specific member frequently attends events as well as contributes to our section the most.

Rules:
1. Cannot be on the board. Board includes the position of President, Vice-President, Treasure, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Web Site Editor, Director Emeritus, Membership Chair, Technical Editor, members of Board of Directors

2. Points are accumulated over a calendar year. Once the year rolls over, all points are reset to zero.

Scoring:
Five (5) points for attending an event
Five (5) points for arriving at the event in a Mercedes
Five (5) points for bringing a non-member who is of legal driving age and has a driver's license
Ten (10) points for winning a competition event
Ten (10) points for helping out at an event
Twenty-five (25) points for running an event.

Winner:
The member with the most points will win a cash prize. There is a minimum of 50 points required to win. The winner will be announced at the 2011's Annual Dinner.

Help us in welcoming Ric Fair and Richard Doucette to our Board of Directors. Ric and Richard will be valuable additions to the Minuteman Section leadership team. Congratulations and welcome aboard!
