NEXT ROAD TRIP EVENT!

Winter Getaway - Rough Creek Lodge, Glen Rose, TX, Saturday, January 10, 10:30am
Join us for a great lunch at the famous Rough Creek Lodge and Resort, known nationwide for its great restaurant, hunting and fishing, great family vacations, and as a venue for world-class corporate conferences and retreats on its 11,000 acres in the middle of nowhere. We will choose from Executive Chef Gerard Thompson's imaginative lunch menu . He has received superlative reviews nationally by the Zagat Survey, Bon Appétit, Gourmet, and Food & Wine. We will drive on country roads, and play an interesting game (to be announced later) to spice up the event. The top 3 winners will get great prizes.

At the restaurant, we will order from the menu and pay via separate checks. Main courses for lunch will cost between $12 and $17, with appetizer and dessert selections costing about $8 each. Beverages are available at additional cost. The menu changes every day, but expect to find items such as gourmet sandwiches and pizzas on the lunch menu. A 20% service charge will be added to your bill.

Signup and Fees:
Please sign up as soon as possible so we can provide a good headcount to the restaurant. To book your spot(s), email DJ de Jesus at djdejesus@charter.net, (817) 319-3033. We will charge an entry fee of $5 for each MBCA member and their immediate family members who wish to play for prizes. Non-members who wish to play will be charged $10. You need not pay the fee if you are not participating in the game but wish to enjoy the trip and the dinner. You may pay the event fee via check or online.
