I'm looking for

1. good carpets (both the original floor matts and nice ones that go on top) in tan/beige. It's for a wagon, so if you have the carpeted areas for the back that would be great too.

2. Roof rack rails (the cross pieces for a wagon)

3. Wagon interior hatch opening handle

4. Wagon euro rear bumper

I have $ or trade for lots of older Mercedes parts. Mostly 1960s and 1970s. Becker radios, 1982 123 sedan euro rear bumper (keeping the front for the wagon), pagoda parts, Kangol parts or complete belts, Hickok, fan switch for 111/112/113 early w/ little light, kick panel speakers (becker), ....

Scott, what color carpeting are you looking for exactly? There was both Tan and Palomino made. Also, there were different types of textures too. The later year carpets were of the thinner and finer fibers while the earlier carpets were thicker fibers. I think the change came in about 1982.

My 1981 has thicker fibers than my 1985 in terms of carpeting.

As far as floor mats go (these cover the carpets), The original MB ones are not that pricey and used ones should be even more of a bargain.

I don't think that all of them are on the build sheet. On the build sheet the only piece of info that I have is "interior equipment 154" which appears under Paintwork 1 - 623 which would be light ivory exterior paint. So does "154" tell me something useful?

I understand the difference between the "loop style" carpet and the "velour style" carpet. Mine is the velour.

If you are anyone can enlighten me as far as determining where it actually says what my interior color (and material) are that would be appreciated.

As for the mats vs. the carpets - the mats I think are NLA. The carpets I think are possibly available and prohibitively expensive - I think I priced the driver's carpet at just under $400 but I may be confused about that....

thanks
Scott
