Anyone ever used Leatherique? They were at the Porsche Club Oktoberfest yesterday. Triangle Section was well represented with our cars on display also and all had a great time. I have heard positive reports, so I bought some. I'm just looking some "practical" application experiences from anyone that might have used it before.

Follow the directions that came with the Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil and Pristine Clean and you'll have good results. I applied the Rejuvenator Oil liberally with my fingers, but didn't use nearly the quantity that they suggest on each seat. Maybe that's because the leather was in good shape to start. I recommend doing the Rejuvenator Oil step early in the morning of a warm, sunny day and letting the car sit out all day in the sun and overnight before doing the Pristine Clean step.

On my son's 1996 BMW seats I applied Pristine Clean with a soft toothbrush to remove dirt from the light gray seats ... they look like new except for the left bolster on the driver's seat which is worn from years of rubbing. I figure that I spent 30 minutes or so on each front seat for the Pristine Clean application alone. In addition to doing a remarkable cleaning job Leatherique made the BMW leather much, much softer.

Has anyone had any luck with using this on vinyl? What about the Crack Filler?

Ferdman,
Do have to wipe it down before you apply the Pristine Clean or did you just spray on the P Clean then wipe all of it off?
I think I'll pick up some spray bottles for application and then rub it in. Did you do your entire interior at once or 1 seat at a time?

Sherrill, no need to wipe off the Rejuvenator Oil. The Pristine Clean step and damp cloth step remove any sticky residue. I applied Rejuvenator Oil to all the leather early in the morning and let the car sit all day and over night. The next day I performed the Pristine Clean, damp cloth and buffing steps.

Actually I didn't use spray bottles. I applied the Rejuvenator Oil with my fingers rubbing it into the leather and being careful not to get it on adjacent non-leather components (rear deck, vinyl, cloth at rear seat armrest cubby, plastic door panels, etc.). On our MB seats and leather door inserts I applied the Pristine Clean with a cotton cloth, while on my son's BMW seats I dipped a soft toothbrush in the Pristine Clean and 'scrubbed' his dirty light gray seats. Spray bottles would work well too, provided you're careful and only spray the leather.

Ferdman,
Thanks for the imput. Now, I've got to choose the right time to do this.
Notice that you are in Pennsylvania. I am going up to Downingtown, PA in a couple of weeks. How are the cops up there (Troopers) , what can you get by with on the interstate?

Sherrill, if you don't exceed the posted speed limit by more than 10mph you should be fine.
