I would like to find the factory specifications for bolt pattern transmission to make an adapter to fit a chevrolet hogshead and transmission behind a 300 diesel mercedes.

Are there any oil pans, for the rear sump, for sale for a 300d?

Does anyone manufacture an adapter for Chevy to Mercedes?

Re: Engine transmission adapter

there are several people who have stuffed a Chevy SBC between the fenders of a Benz. To the best of my knowledge, there are no adapters.
I am in the process of implanting a Chevy SBC in my W108 and have had to fabricate most pieces.

Good luck with your project.

Re: Engine transmission adapter

All you need is a back plate from a dead motor to get the bolt pattern. Up until the M102 and M60x motors of the mid 80's the back plate was removable.
