I want to change the oil in a 2002 CLK55 AMG, looking for any tips or special concerns. I plan on using Mobil One. The service booklet list about seven viscosities.
The vehicle is only used in the warm months. I was considering 15w40 or 20w50, are these too heavy? Michael

Re: Clk55 Oil Change

0w-40 is probably the recommended viscosity anywhere in the US. You need to verify whether or not you have two oil drain plugs. The SLK55 has two and it's necessary to remove both to completely drain the oil.
