Hi
I run two tanks one for diesel or bio and the other tank grease.
I've been doing this for 3 years. Yesterday it wouldn't idle on the
diesel fuel ONLY. I hooked it up straight from the primer pump it
still wouldn't idle on the diesel. But good idle on the grease.
Please help if you can.
Thanks Greg

By-pass the fuel tank strainer by reversing the incoming fuel line with the return fuel line. If it idles well, you have a clogged fuel strainer. Of course that means draining the tank and cleaning that strainer.

I used a small tank outside the car to do this straight to the pump .
Thanks Greg

Hi
Replace all the injectors will correct the problem? Is there away to
check the injectors for this problem? Is there anything other then injectors
that could cause this?
Thanks Greg

Still no idle on diesel

Hi Guys

The car will run on diesel a high rpms but no idle. Yesterday I
replaced the diesel for bio it idles now. Where should I go from here?
I notice the valves were loud would this cause the problem ?

Thanks Greg

Hi Vince
In the winter months I need a 50/50 blend. I've tried 50/50 no idle.

Thanks Greg

With all the information you supplied in your first post I believe that your injectors and the injection pump are operating OK. I think that your problem lies with the valving and or controls on the diesel fuel side of your dual fuel system. Check for proper flow in all the supply and return lines on the diesel fuel side of the system. Let us know how you made out.

I bought both of these cars for this and have helped with 4 others
with this. All are still running fine and this one is the only one doing this .
With all the knowledge out there I thought someone could help. Sorry If I
upset anyone I just was looking for answers.
Thanks, Greg

Injection Pump attachment

There is a 4x4 module attached to the injection pump facing the engine
with a 3 prone plug at the end. What is that and where do you plug it in ?
Thanks Greg

If it is behind the injection pump it is the Tempomat device used for cruise control.

Hi Greg,
You said you took it on the highway but you did not tell us that you did the diesel purge-- seems to me this is really important.
