2000 CLK 430 "EC" light stuck on no A/C

Hi All...

I know this question was asked about another model, but when i followed solution the steps must be different on my car.

Prob is, my EC light all of a sudden will not shut off, hence no A/C.

Anyone experience the same thing or have a link to a solution?

The EC light confirms the compressor is not working, could be from low charge or defective sensor
There are diagnostics you can go thru

Thanks Peter. I was able to get the EC light to turn off, but still no AC. Weird since last week the AC worked fine & blew cold air.

Guess it's off to the dealer for fixing.
