Can anyone offer up information on the "limited edition" E420 in 1995? Colors, options, PICS, etc....especially pictures?:p

Thanks in advance,

There was a special edition at the end of the run in 1995 to clear out the remaining inventory. It typically had a few extras thrown in like special wood, special paint and maybe a few other extras. I wouldn't think a special edition would command any or much premium on price as a used car.

Re: 1995 E420 Limited Edition?

The SE 420's were basically just a Hard loaded 420...phone/heated seats/CD changer/ASR etc, etc.. Wood was burl, I've seen SE's in spruce green, white and black..so if one of colours were available, I've yet to come across one.

The 500E SE's were a bit more interesting, w/ uniquely trimmed out interior and some special colours available. The most striking of which IMHO is the midnight blue.

The SE 420's don't appear to command much of a premium these days....but the E420 market is rather weak, so that likely has something to do with it.

Re: 1995 E420 Limited Edition?

I was curious about the same thing. I have two 95 E Class, a 420 with 110K, and I think the paint color is "Desert Sand", (beige), and an E300 Diesel with 69K. If you look at Car-Fax, it says both of my vehicles are "Special Editions". My 420 has ASR, Heated Leather seats, Power Telescopic Steering. The Diesel has none of them.

I seem to recall someone saying that all '95 124's came back a a special edition on Carfax whether they were or not. I believe the true special editions came out toward the summer of '95. They had some special features like upgraded wood, special paint colors, etc.
