During the second weekend in September, Ozark Section members gathered in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to participate in the 42nd Annual Antique Auto Show and Parade.
On Friday evening, we met at Klaas and Jeri Voermann's home on Holiday Island to relax while looking out over a beautiful view of Table Rock Lake. After dinner, we finalized event plans for the following day.
Early on Saturday morning, six Ozark Section's classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles joined the parade, passing by hundreds of spectators as the parade route wound through this quaint little town located in northwestern Arkansas. During the parade, each car proudly displayed magnetic signs promoting both the Ozark Section and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. After the parade, all attendees lined up for photos with their car before heading on to Dane and Diane Paulsen's home for a delicious lunch.
Although only a handful of Mercedes-Benz vehicles were entered for judging in the car show, congratulations go to Porfirio Gutierrez and his immaculate 1985 380SL. The car show judges proudly awarded his car second place in the class of Original Cars, 1966-1986. Event Images
