Trieben Schnell Driving SchoolApril 27-27 - The Trieben Schnell driving school was held in Hastings Nebraska. The BMW club did an outstanding job of organizing this event,cars from 7 states made there way to Motor Park Hastings to enjoy this 2 day event. New drivers were assigned instructors to help them understand how to handle their cars in a safe high-speed environment. Saturday morning clear skies gave way to mist then a steady rain, this may seem like a bad thing but it really made you improve smoothness. Sunday morning we woke up to snow but the sun came out and the rest of the day was great! If you have not been to one of these events you should try and attend one. Give Me a Brake Tech SessionMarch 22 - The Give me a Brake tech session was held at Star Class Motors. Mark Bertelsen performed a tech inspection and front brake replacement on Clays C230 to get it ready for the track. Dan Teten from Bring It On paintless dent removal demonstrated how those little dings can be removed. Door prizes were given out and Marks brother provided some yummy barbecue. Thanks Mark for a great event! |

Schatz SocialFeb 17 - The Schatz social was held at Mahoney state park. Many members brought there sweethearts out for this event, the weather held out just long enough for everyone to have a safe trip.Maurice Befort from the Hawkeye section also joined us and descussed joint events. Door prizes were given out to all who attended. |
