As mentioned in the latest newsletter, we are holding this year's Holiday Party in Middletown, CT at the Harbor Park Restaurant.  This restuarant sits right on the Connecticut River.  We will be having door prizes, a Mercedes-Benz trivia game with a prize for the winner.  We will also be handing out membership pins and announcing the Member of the Year.  We are also lookng at this Holiday Party as a membership party where you get a chance to meet the faces behind the names of the Board members. As mentioned in the newsletter this will be a buffet style party with open bar for 2 hours (Beer and Wine)  The buffet includes  a House salad, your choice of Sliced Top Round Roast, with a mushroom merlot sauce, Chicken Francasie, and Stuffed Filet Sole, Pasta  Penne a la Vodka.  Also included, oven roasted potatoes, veggies, warm rolls, soda, coffee & tea.  All of this for only $15 person

Welcome everyone, to the section's new website. We have been promising this day would come, and here we are. Hope everyone finds the look pleasing. Working with the site's developer, we have designed it with a nice New England look. With not only the colorful picture at the top, but with vertical lines below, which are reminiscent of beadboard which is commonly found in New England homes. We hope that everyone finds the site easy to use and uses it often. As you can see to the left, we have a basic forum to "talk shop". This is another great way for members to share thoughts, car advice, etc. with each other. We also will upload the newsletters as they come out and archive the old ones for future reference. We also have a classified section, just as we do in the newsletter. As it is with the newsletter, this is a free service for section members. The most important part of the new website, is the Events section. This is where all events will be listed in chronological order and any updates to events will be listed. This is where you should go the most often, as we can give you the latest and greatest on any given event. Should there be a change in venue, date/time, cancellation, etc. we can announce it here immediately versus waiting for the next newsletter to be published. We will of course continue to publish the newsletter and mail it out to members. I don't know about you but, just as I like the convienence of the computer, I still prefer to read articles/stories on paper, in my hands.

I would also like to take the time to announce that we will be having a Holiday Party, to be held at the beginning of December. At the present time, we are still working on the location, and with this new website, we will be able to announce it as soon as it has been confrimed.

So again, welcome to the website. Please add it to your favorites and visit it often.

Happy motoring
