Vevay Swiss Wine Festival Road Rally August 25, 2007
· Switzerland County, Indiana, is one of the prettiest and most unique counties in the state. We were joined by about 25 rallists for our road tour for an exciting drive through the rural countryside, and experience life as it was meant to be--in the peaceful, beautiful hills of southern Indiana! After the rally, relax at the Swiss Wine Festival in historic Vevay, Indiana!. A good time was had by all.
Tech Session At Mercedes-Benz of West Chester
· About two dozen members were given great a treat to be hosted by our local Mercedes-Benz dealership. We got a great tour of the body shop and in the service area learned the proper way to use an external battery charger and change the new style windshield wipers. Our questions where answered and each member who wished to have their car washed was pleasantly surprised. Craig & Ann Hinrich told us about the AMG contest trip that they won to Germany. We had lunch after at First Watch.

August 12 – Sat Scenic Road Rallye - Captain Meldahl’s Maze
Although the weather was perfect, our section's turnout was less than expected. there were a total of 24 cars in the rally. We left from the Milford for the rallye at 10AM. We saw 3 covered bridges and drove thru 2 of them. There was a great scavenger hunt which included items like an Eisenhower Silver dollar, and mattress label. We stopped at many flea markets and yard sales to get the items.
The Rallye was won by Mike & Kay Roth with a near perfect score of 200. The photo below shows Mike & Kay on the left being congratulated by rallye masters Satolli & Bev at the Meldahl Dam.
