We would like to announce that the Central Ohio Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America is holding our 6th Annual German Car Show. Please read the attached flyer. This is a "grass roots" type of car show; organized, promoted, and attended by the enthusiast. To help promote the show, please print the flyer, forward it in e-mail, or otherwise spread the word.

NEW: We are collaborating with the Germania club downtown this year! They are holding their 48th Annual Bavaria Fest in conjunction with our 6th Annual German Car Show. This will help bolster both events as they truly complement each other. It should be great fun!

NEW: We are inviting German motorcycles to the show. If you know anyone with one, please forward the flyer to them. If it works well, we'll end up changing the show name to "motor show" instead of "car show"!

• Held in the parking lot behind (just west of) the Germania club at 543 S. Front Street. Sunday, August 26
• Vehicle registration at 9:00 AM
• The show opens at 11:00 AM
• $10 to enter "Display Only" class
• $20 to enter "Clean Car Contest" class
• Registration day of show only
• Clean Car Contest trophies for each marquee
• Best of show and people's choice trophies
• German antenna flags for first 20 registrants
• Dash plaques for first 20 registrants

• Take I-71 North to downtown Columbus.
• Take the ramp to I-70 East & I-71 North to Cleveland & Wheeling.
• Take exit 100A for US-23 South to Front St. & High St.
• At the end of this ramp, you will be on Fulton St., at the Front St. intersection.
• For general parking:
  • At the traffic light at Front St., go straight through one block to High St.
  • At the traffic light at High St., turn right and go south one block to Blenkner St.
  • At Blenkner St, turn right and then turn right into the multi-story parking garage.
• For participating in the car show:
  • At the traffic light at Front St., turn right and travel south on Front St. to Germania (543 S. Front St.).
  • Turn right into the alley at the German Car Show signs.
  • Registration is down the alley.

From Dayton

• Take I-70 East to downtown Columbus.
• Take exit 100A for US-23 South to Front St. & High St.
• At the end of this ramp, you will be on Fulton St., at the Front St. intersection.

• At the traffic light at Fourth St., go straight through (west) on Fulton St.
• On Fulton St, travel west for a few blocks.
• At the traffic light for High St, turn left (south).
• On High St., travel across the freeway and travel two more blocks.
• At Blenkner St., turn right.
• For general parking:
  • From Blenkner St., turn right into the multi-story parking garage.
• For participating in the car show:
  • Blenkner dead-ends into Front St.
  • At Front St., turn left (south) and travel one-half block to Germania (543 S. Front St.).
  • Turn right into the alley at the German Car Show signs.
  • Registration is down the alley.

From Wheeling

• Take I-70 West to downtown Columbus.
• Merge on to I-71 South & I-70 West to Cincinnati & Dayton.
