March 27 Tech Session at Autobahn Motors

Tech Session Time: 10:00 AM � 11:45 AM.

Potluck Lunch Time: Noon � 2:00 PM.

Instructor/owner Don McCoy will give a talk on the

finer details of Mercedes-Benz ownership,

including the Control Area Network on newer vehicles.

During the session, the two middle or high school

winners, their parents and teachers, of the

Mercedes-Benz Automotive Science Award at the

Louisville Regional and the duPont Manual High

School Science Fairs, will be invited to attend.

They will demonstrate their award-winning

Science projects.

Details are as follows: Club members: please bring

a dessert of your choice. Guests and invited

personnel need not bring anything. The club will

provide the snacks which includes a salad dish,

meat tray, flatware, soft drinks, cups/hot and cold,

plates etc. Autobahn Motors, will furnish 20 � 30

chairs and two tables. The club banner will be

placed outside so that you can easily find the shop.

June 19 Defensive Driving & Autocross hosted by Indianapolis

Saturday 500 Section, also with Cincinnati Section

Location: Center Grove High School, 2717 S. Morgantown Road,

Greenwood, IN. Donuts & iced cold water will be waiting for you

during the 9:00 � 9:30 AM check-in. At 9:30 AM, there will be a walk

through of the Defensive Driving course. A box Lunch will be

provided around Noon, followed by the delightful Autocross! Prizes

and certificates to be awarded. Cost is $15, which includes lunch.

Mercedes-Benz safety - from Cincinnati President, Steve Rosenzweig

If anyone ever thinks that a Mercedes-Benz isn't safe, look at these pics. One of the guys I work with was on a test drive and sitting in the back seat stopped at a light. The guy in the Jeep Grand Cherokee didn't see the E320. He hit them at 45-50 mph. All three walked out of the E320 without any major injuries. Imagine if they were in something other than a Mercedes-Benz! Clickhere for pics.

MBCA Loyalty Reward has been extended through 12/31/10. You are eligible for a Loyalty Reward for purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicle from an authorized U.S. Mercedes-Benz dealership. Your reward will be $1,500 for a new vehicle or $750 for a pre-owned vehicle. Loyalty Rewards also apply for the purchase of any pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicle from a licensed independent dealer value of $250. Your membership must be valid for 12 months prior to submission.
