Welcome to Alabama Section MBCA.  We are the area chapter not only for the entire state of Alabama but also the Florida panhandle including Tallahassee and for the southeastern counties and coastal Mississippi- hence our acronym Alabama Mississippi & Gulf coast- AMG.  We share an enthusiasm and passion for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including Smart, but ownership is not a requirement.

We find that while the interest in the wonderful Mercedes-Benz vehicles brings us together, the friendships we make by meeting and having great events are the real value of membership.  After all, it takes special people to recognize the value of these extraordinary cars.

Since the only North American Mercedes-Benz production facility is located near the center of our section between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, we are the “home” (Heimat) of Mercedes-Benz in North America.  We feel that part of our mission is to host visitors to this magnificent facility, the only production site in the entire world for the ML, GL, and R-class vehicles.

We host a tour of the factory and museum (the only factory M-B museum outside Germany) every year as well as an associated car show and scenic drive.  We are also able to host other sections and individuals who are planning visits to MBUSI.  There are many striking and interesting things to do in the area for Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.
